One Bangkok, located right in front of MRT Lumphini Station between Rama IV Road and Witthayu Road, is a large-scale project jointly developed by TCC Assets and Frasers Property. Covering a total area of approximately 173,000㎡ with an investment value of around 120 billion baht, it is one of the most ambitious developments in Bangkok. The 430-meter Signature Tower, which has the potential to become the tallest skyscraper in the city, is anticipated to emerge as a new landmark following the MahaNakhon Tower. (Under construction as of 2024) In this article, we will introduce the highlights of this remarkable project, One Bangkok.
Office space in Tower 4 has already opened, and Towers 3 and 5 are scheduled to open on October 25, 2024. This time, we visited Tower 3 for a preview, and we are pleased to share photos and details with you!
The building has achieved WiredScore Platinum certification and is also targeting SmartScore, LEED Neighborhood Development Platinum, and WELL Platinum certifications.
One Bangkok is located right next to Lumpini Park, in close proximity to the Japanese Embassy, as well as the Australian and U.S. Embassies. It is also near the Silom area, where many Japanese companies have offices, and offers excellent access to the Sukhumvit area—making it a prime location in the CBD.
The nearest station is MRT Lumphini Station, with a direct connecting passage to One Bangkok accessible from Exit 1.
This allows convenient, sheltered access to the office even on rainy days. By transferring from MRT Sukhumvit Station to BTS Asoke, access to Sukhumvit Road is easy, and the location provides smooth connectivity to all directions of Bangkok.
Additionally, a free shuttle bus connecting to BTS Phloen Chit Station operates every 30 minutes between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. (Pick-up point: G floor of Tower 4)
Electric carts also operate frequently, circulating throughout the vast premises.
There is a staffed reception counter and security gate. By presenting your ID card at reception, you will be issued an access card. Elevators only stop at the floors of the registered destination company, ensuring a secure system with no issues in safety standards.
The office entrance lobby is located on the 3rd floor and will be connected to a retail area. Unlike Tower 4’s white-toned design, this lobby features abundant wood finishes, creating a warm impression.
The floors are divided into four zones: Low Zone, Middle-Low Zone, Middle-High Zone, and High Zone.
With a sufficient number of elevators, waiting times are minimal. (At the time of the visit, only some elevators were in operation.)
The ceiling height is approximately 3 meters, creating an open atmosphere free from any sense of confinement.
Units facing southwest offer panoramic views of the intersection of Sathorn Road and Rama IV Road.
Of course, the view varies depending on floor level and direction, so it’s an important point to check during inspections.
The design is simple with a monochrome tone. The width is generous, allowing two adults to comfortably walk side by side.
The restrooms are immaculately maintained, offering a luxurious atmosphere comparable to that of a hotel.
The multipurpose restroom is also equipped with a shower—a welcome facility in tropical Thailand, where it’s easy to sweat.
A shared pantry room is also available.
The smoking area is accessible from outside on the ground floor and is slightly separated from the office floors.
Many retail shops have already opened on the B1 basement floor, ensuring convenience for coffee, convenience stores, and dining. With the completion of other towers, more tenants are expected to move in.
A food court area has also opened.
The commercial zone of One Bangkok is divided into three areas. At the time of our visit, only the underground retail zone introduced earlier was in operation, but within this year, Mitsukoshi Isetan Holdings is scheduled to open a luxury supermarket of approximately 4,600 square meters.
A convention center for shows and exhibitions is also under construction.
Within the premises, five luxury hotels including The Ritz-Carlton, as well as three condominiums, are under development. In addition to accommodations for business travelers, employees’ lifestyle needs—housing, dining, and shopping—can all be fulfilled within “One Bangkok.”
It’s no exaggeration to say that One Bangkok is essentially “a city within a city”!
